Nathan Hinshaw was born in the mountains and raised in the corn fields by his parents, some goats, and a small army of teenagers.
He now resides in Chicago where he has worked in numerous facets of the graphic and web design industry. From startups to established international brands he brings a focus of vision and keen eye for intelligent, empathetic design.
As Creative Director, Nathan brings cohesion between the varied and dynamic personalities within Defyned, helping to guide projects successfully while staying ahead of the curve in terms of emergent technologies, trends, and techniques.
Nathan can push pixels with the best of them, and his design is enhanced by a love of semantic code, a focus on development within web standards, and a genuine desire to create compelling work.
When not working out user experience and interaction issues at Defyned central, Nathan can be found DJ-ing, working on his own award-winning art, or catching up on the internet.
